Baywinde Senior Living Community celebrated its second birthday recently, and already has become established as the area's premier senior living community. Baywinde's campus choices, location and emphasis on wellness, fun and vitality for seniors, have proven popular. Their dedicated staff focus on service, hospitality, and genuine caring as the cornerstone of their success. The environment is lovely as residents share life experiences and laughter.

Baywinde's campus includes patio homes called The Villas, apartments with supportive services called Castle Pointe, and a secure neighborhood for those with memory loss. Sage Harbor offers assistance with meals, medication management, bathing, dressing and other daily routines.

During its first year, Baywinde and neighboring Bay View Family YMCA, were honored by the Rochester Business Journal with a Health Care Achievement plaque for innovation and commitment to promoting wellness. Baywinde's commitment included sponsoring the Monroe County Office for the Aging Senior Vitality program, fitness classes, and inter-generational programs. Baywinde sponsors the Monroe County in Bloom garden at Rt. 104 and Bay Road, the AARP's Driver Safety Program, and the Alzheimer's Association support group. Numerous church groups and business organizations have sampled Baywinde's hospitality. They recently honored the West Webster Fire Dept. & Emergency Technicians for their dedication.
