OcuSight Eye Care Center was established in 1996 through the merger of three separate ophthalmology practices.  Dr. Philip Sheils (presently at the Linden Oaks office), as well as Ophthalmology of Rochester, PC in Brighton (Dr. Andrew Goodfriend and Dr. Steven Scott Searl), joined Webster Ophthalmology Associates, PC, to form what is today called OcuSight Eye Care Center.

OcuSight Eye Care Center’s history in Webster is extensive.  Dr. Joseph Seeger founded Webster Ophthalmology PC in what is today the Webster Health Center on Barrett Drive over 30 years ago.  Later, he was joined in practice by his son, Dr. Richard J. Seeger.  In 1987 the father and son team were joined by Dr. Paul Rosenberg, a fellowship trained Oculoplastic surgeon, and a few years later they were joined by Dr. Donald Tingley, one of the area’s few Pediatric Ophthalmologists.

Today, OcuSight Eye Care Center has four locations throughout Monroe County, with the largest being its Webster headquarters.  The newly built office sits across from the Webster Town Hall and was completed in 2002.  The Webster location staff includes 5 full time and 3 part time physicians.  In the summer of 2006 they will open a new facility in Greece, NY at the intersection of Long Pond and Latta Roads.  Additionally, they will welcome Dr. Sean Mogan, another Oculoplastic Ophthalmologist, to the team.  Dr. Mogan will be working primarily out of the Webster and newly constructed Greece locations.
