12 May Street, Webster |

Established 20 years ago the Schlegel Road School was the first “home” for Toddler’s Workshop. After moving to May Street two additions were built on the original building, then came the purchase of the Hojack Yards Railroad Depot (formerly a variety of restaurants) plus the addition of a built-in pool.
The vision of Toddlers’ Workshop is to provide comprehensive early childhood and before and after school care services of the highest quality. In doing so, they exist to support the family unit by providing quality, dependable care and early learning experiences in a safe, clean and nurturing environment.
Comprehensive services include care for children as young as six weeks of age through 12 year olds including a part day preschool program, full day kindergarten and a summer camp for school aged children. Additional service programs include Dancing With Denise, Kindermusik, and in the summer months, American Red Cross swimming lessons. Toddler’s Workshop has also been nationally accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children and continues to be the only accredited child care program in Webster.
Regulations change, the bar is constantly being raised in providing quality care and new research continually unveils information that should make its way into any quality program. Former students work as teachers and after school/camp counselors! They employ 70 full and part time workers during the school year and 80 in the summer months. Toddler’s Workshop has been a long-time supporter of the Webster Village Days as well as Community Arts Days. Ginny has served on the Universal Pre-K committee in the Webster School District. The business supports the March of Dimes and the Webster Museum Christmas Tree Decorating event. She has been involved in a number of early childhood organizations and is currently co-committee chair for the Ways and Means Committee for the Rochester Association for the Education of Young Children. She is a Master Observer for the Greater Rochester After School Alliance and is past president and board member of Child Care Council and past president of the Council of Child Care Administrators. She also serves on committees through the Children’s Institute on accreditation standards and through the Greater Rochester Early Educator’s Network.
