Business of the Month

August 2007

  Dave Malta Realty
5 West Main Street, Webster, NY
  585-216-1075

Dave grew up in Irondequoit but moved to Webster 30 years ago and has been committed to our Community ever since — as a resident, legislator, and a realtor. He is the broker owner of Dave Malta Realty which he begin in 1995.

The business began in the village of Webster, moved to Gravel Road, and after ten years moved back to the village. He missed the closeness of the Village and the networking with his fellow business owners. His father was a realtor and taught Dave the business. At age 18 Dave obtained his real estate license and sold his first house to his business teacher.
Since moving to the village,(in February 2007) his real estate company has grown substantially and now has eight agents, including his son, also named Dave.

In his 4th year as a Monroe County Legislator, Dave is even more committed to our Community. He pays regular visits to the seniors at the Webster Community Center and at Cherry Ridge. The casual conversations often last two hours. He stays in touch with our Community and is aware of the tremendous benefits that the Town and Village have to offer. These benefits are what he sells every day to prospective residents and business owners. He believes in, and sells, Webster.

Dave serves on several legislative committees, is a member of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors, and the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors.

Dave is always ready to listen to his constituents and assist where he can. He encourages anyone with questions or concerns to contact him. He is married to Patty, has five children and three grandchildren. Son, Dave, is also committed to Webster - he coaches various sports programs. Congratulations!
