The Webster-Ontario-Walworth (WOW) Pennysaver is honored to be chosen as the Webster Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month. The Pennysaver, which is celebrating its 60th Anniversary, is owned and operated by Jill and Geof Mohr who continue to run this family business in the tradition of their parents, Lorene and Lee Flora.
This local publication is where “your ad is the news”! More than 20,700 Pennysavers are distributed every Monday to EVERYBODY in the Webster, Ontario, Walworth, Union Hill, and Penfield area. Over fifty new jobs for local residents were created in the ‘70's with their Advertising Delivery Service which was started in order to guarantee on-time delivery for merchants’ ads. They are your community paper, delivered by your neighbors, and are the proud publishers of the Webster Town Directory.
A recent Certified Audit of Circulation showed a readership of 96.7%; they thank everyone for making them so popular! The dedicated and talented staff, many who have been with the Pennysaver for over 25 years, are outstanding. Stop in and say hello to their sales staff, Laurie Zahn-Herman and Deb Halling; the office manger Janet Turner; the graphic artists Laurie Place and Roman, the typist Laurel, the account department Terre, and a cheery hello to receptionist Gail.
