Susan DiProjetto (VP/Branch Manager) and Michael Richards (VP Business Banker) run the Hard Road branch of M&T Bank. Combined they have over 60 years of banking experience. They both live and have raised their families in Webster.
M&T Bank services all types of business customers from Medical Professionals to Start-up businesses. They have been the #1 SBA lender in Rochester for the last 14 years and have the #1 market share in Rochester. Approximately 55% of businesses in Monroe County have a relationship with the bank. That figure increases to 60% in the Town of Webster. In addition to commercial lending, the bank offers retail, investment and insurance products.
M&T Bank’s generosity in the Rochester region and locally is unmatchable. Over the past five years, M&T Bank’s Rochester region has provided nearly $5 million in charitable funding to non-profit agencies serving our community. Last year, some 300 local agencies received a total of $1.4 million from M&T Bank’s charitable budget. They expect to support the community at the same level next year. They were the major sponsor for the BID’s Village Days. They are the largest corporate contributor to the Memorial Art Gallery. They provide significant funding to the Geva Theatre Center, the Rochester Museum & Science Center, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Nazareth College Arts Center. M&T Bank also committed $500,000 in charitable funding to educational programs and services benefitting children in 2007. They support literacy programs and support services for the City’s elementary schools.
M&T prides itself on its active role in the community in terms of charitable funding support and employee involvement. 64% of M&T Bank’s officer level employees are involved in local non-profit agencies in a variety of roles.
Mike and Susan have been active participants in the Webster Chamber for the last five years — Susan having served on the Board of Directors for the last two years.
