Jan 2025 - Mar 31st 2025: Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment
You can change your Medicare Advantage Plan if you're already in a Medicare Advantage Plan - the new effective date will be the 1st of the month. If you have a qualifying event (such as turning 65), you can enroll at any time.
All Year: Individual & NYS Marketplace Insurance Enrollment
If you qualify for Medicaid, Child Health Plus, or the Essential Plan, or have a qualifying event (such as loss of coverage, marriage, divorce, etc.), you can enroll any time during the year.

We offer enrollment assistance in Qualified Health Insurance, Medicare Advantage, Medigap/Supplemental and Part D for individuals, sole proprietors, as well as small and large businesses. This includes 1099 workers, retireees, and those eigible for financial assistance. You may have health insurace with your employer and your children may be eligible for Child Health Plus at a cost lower than you pay now. The Chamber has been providing health insurance enrollment assistance since 1938!
The Chamber offers enrollment assistance regardless of age, from most every insurance carrier that serves our region, including Aetna, Excellus, Fidelis, MVP Health Care, and United Healthcare. Enrollment is also available through the NY State of Health Marketplace which is the only place to obtain employer tax credits, advanced premium tax credits for individuals and families, Essential Plans, Child Health Plus, and Medicaid.
