Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union
Congratulations to Finger Lakes Federal Credit Union as our Business of the Month. From its beginnings in 1967 as the Geneva School Employees Credit Union, located in the basement of a middle school, FLFCU has grown tremendously. It originally served local school employees but has expanded to cover multiple counties, supporting over 20,000 members.
In 2020, FLFCU merged with Webster Federal Credit Union, enhancing their service capabilities. This merger increased their membership to 22,000 and total assets to over $215 million, allowing them to offer more comprehensive services like business lending and improved account options.
FLFCU is committed to providing high-quality services and a commitment to technology. They're also deeply involved in community initiatives, offering financial education and supporting local projects. They embody the principle of "people helping people," ensuring decisions benefit their members and the community.
