June 2024 Business of the Month

Chamberlain Septic & Sewer

Chamberlain Septic & Sewer has been a cornerstone of our community since its establishment by Gordon Beh in 1970.

Originally a dairy farmer, Gordon purchased a backhoe in 1962 to improve drainage on his farm.  His exceptional skills quickly garnered the attention of neighbors and local builders.  By 1966, responding to growing demand, he pivoted from dairy to full-time excavation, focusing on drainage, septic systems, and water services.  His dedication to quality and service was evident early on, and the business soon expanded to include septic and sewer system services with the acquisition of Chamberlain Septic Tank Service in 1972.

Chamberlain Septic & Sewer is a true family affair. Gordon’s sons, Dean and David, joined the business in the 1970s. When Gordon retired in 1990, they took over, continuing their father’s legacy of excellence and customer service.  The company now boasts state-of-the-art technology, including power snaking equipment, video cameras, and confined space equipment.  They also maintain a fleet of septic tank trucks and heavy machinery, ensuring that they can handle any job, big or small.

The company’s primary services include residential septic tank cleaning, system installation, sewer line repairs, and inspections, as well as commercial excavation and septic services.  Their commitment extends beyond just providing services; they collaborate with engineers, town code enforcers, and health departments across Monroe, Wayne, and Ontario Counties to solve complex wastewater problems.

What makes Chamberlain Septic and Sewer Contractors stand out is not just their comprehensive service offering but their deep-rooted commitment to the community.  The family and their employees are actively involved in local church groups, sports coaching, and various civic engagements, consistently donating their time and resources to better our community.

As we celebrate this business, we also celebrate the spirit of community and perseverance embodied by the Beh family.  Their story reminds us that with hard work and dedication, any challenge can be transformed into an opportunity.

Congratulations; Dean, David, and the entire team at Chamberlain Septic & Sewer.  We thank them for their continued service and dedication to our community.
