Since we can't all be together at a Chamber Breakfast, we created a page for you to share a sentence or two - like you would at Pass the Mic during a breakfast.

We would love it if you added your comment to the list! We will clear the page periodically and ask you for a new comment so the page stays current and fresh! You can click the button to submit a comment or scroll to the end and fill it out!

Hopefully this provides a little connection to our Chamber members and maybe a little fun too!

Reliant Community Federal Credit Union (Dawn Sargent - Chair of the Chamber Board): Hello everyone! As we navigate our new normal, whether it is balancing our work-at-home schedules with home schooling, creating a plan to reopen your business, or learning new technologies to keep in touch with family and clients, we can all be assured that we are in this together and we will be stronger for it!

Small Business Development & Marketing (Colette Scott): "Get the word out!" you know how COVID 19 is expected to change customer buying habits in the next 6- 12 months? A big market survey was done and shows key trends that you might be interested in. Among them... the need to increase online digital presence and online customer communication. They also found growth opportunities for businesses with focus on adapting to new customer habits. It's great time to experiment with new offerings. If you want more information or just want to talk about how you can get the most out of Google or Facebook for your business let me know.

RE/MAX Plus (Rose Gabriele-Angell): Hope everyone is staying well! I have been working from home but using this time to stay connected with clients and to focus on learning new skills & continuing education. I have also gotten a few much needed projects completed at home and look forward to my daily walks, now that the weather is warming up. Real estate sales have been very active in spite of the showing restrictions and stay-at-home orders. In-person real estate showings are now being allowed in Phase 2 as long as social distancing and the required PPE safety guidelines are strictly followed. Buyer demand is still very high, especially with the historically low mortgage interest rates. However, the inventory of available homes is still quite low making for a strong seller's market with most homes selling quickly and with multiple offers. Real estate is open for business, and by utilizing the technology tools, I can safely assist my clients to buy and sell homes during this time. I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Edge Advertising Group (Diane McClure): Edge Advertising Group is offering no-cost Facebook audits during our COVID distancing. Any business expressing interest will be called by Diane McClure, once each week, to review 3 actions to take on your Facebook Page. Once all of the "to dos" have been covered, that business will graduate, leaving a space for another Chamber member. During any one week, we will be working with 10 Chamber members. Email: to get started. Keep up the healthy fight!

Elizabeth Wende Breast Care (Nancy Wayne): We love our new office on Barrett Drive in Webster (near the post office) and our patients do too! They like the easy in and out, with same day results by text or email as well as our professional, friendly staff. All our seven offices are open with safety first, enhanced cleaning and social distancing. It was so nice to meet fellow chamber members last week--thank you Wellness 360 for hosting. Take time to enjoy the summer!

Edward Jones (Rich Marlin): I miss seeing you all and hope all of you are well. Even though our doors are locked our business is open and doing very well. I hope to see everyone eventually and even shake your hands.:)

If you are interested in providing this training to your employees from the safety of their own computers, you can register here ( Finally, and as I mentioned at the Chamber’s monthly breakfast meeting, employers in New York and nationwide have seen an increase in fraudulent claims for unemployment benefits. Maier Farms (Sally Maier): Maier Farms had to shift gears with our flower and vegetable plant sales this spring. Previously our retail sales were at the Rochester Public Market’s Flower City Days and the Fairport Farmers Market. Since neither of those options were open due to COVID-19, we opened an online store ( ) offering curbside pick up and also opened an open air market on Saturdays and Sundays here at the farm. Social media spread the word around and we did well. We are also offering Curbside pick up for produce now through October in addition to daily hours at our farm stand.
