Since we can't all be together at a Chamber Breakfast, we created a page for you to share a sentence or two - like you would at Pass the Mic during a breakfast.
We would love it if you added your comment to the list! We will clear the page periodically and ask you for a new comment so the page stays current and fresh! You can click the button to submit a comment or scroll to the end and fill it out!
Hopefully this provides a little connection to our Chamber members and maybe a little fun too!

As we are considered essential, we continue to run our standard business hours (M-F 8 am-5:30 pm). Business is slow but it's there. We have to thank Barry and the Chamber team for all the updates and detailed/timely information - so very helpful - we have successfully applied for and received loans/grants made available to us to help keep everything moving forward! Our waiting area continues to be "closed" to people waiting for their vehicles and thankfully, this practice has been widely accepted by our customers. We require anyone coming into the building to wear masks and we continue to disinfect all customer vehicles as they come in and before they leave. Guy Alvito Trucking Service LLC (Kathy Alvito): Hi Everyone! We are currently up and running. Our business lends itself well to "social distancing," so we didn't have to make a lot of changes. Because a lot of people are now home, we have had steady business on the homeowner front. We can deliver with little or no contact. We are fortunate to have a lot of contract work that is considered essential. We know how blessed we are at this time and appreciate everything that we have. We know a lot of small business can't run at full capacity or at all, so we try to do our part by purchasing their products or services. Thank you to the Chamber for keeping everyone updated, and we look forward to the time when everyone can be up and running.

We have separate entrances for sick families and have plenty of masks to keep both staff and families safe. We are doing COVID testing for kids- keep in mind that sick children of essential workers are important as they can impact a parent's return to work, so please get them evaluated! Stay well!
CMIT Solutions of Monroe (Cheryl Nelan): Our team is working safely and keeping our clients systems running so they can as well. As things settle, we look to help our clients remain compliant in this new environment. We've been working with HIPAA compliancy since 2013 and now can cover DFS, NIST, Shield Act and others so if you have a question about remaining compliant with employees working from home, we can probably help! We wish everyone the best and encourage everybody to stick to wearing masks and social distancing so that we don’t take any steps backwards in slowing the spread of CoronaVirus!
