Since we can't all be together at a Chamber Breakfast this month, we created a page for you to share a sentence or two - like you would at Pass the Mic during a breakfast.

So email Barry with a comment (Bhoward@websterchamber.com) and we will post it here for everyone to see - you can use the format below. Feel free to update comments as time passes so we have an idea of what's going on in your world!

Hopefully this will provide a little connect to our Chamber members and maybe a little fun too!

Reliant Community Federal Credit Union (Dawn Sargent - Chair of the Chamber Board): Hello Everyone! I hope all is well with you, your families and your businesses.  It is so important to be in communication to those we are close to and do business with so I hope you find this option useful and maybe a bit entertaining.  If we learn anything from this situation it is that technology can be utilized to keep us connected even in the toughest of situations.Wishing everyone a safe and quick return to normal!

Edge Advertising Group (Diane McClure): Updated 04/02/2020 Consultations are always free (474-7173; Diane@EdgeAdGroup.com). We are in full operation with our creatives who work remotely on a regular basis (it helps to have IT people on board!). Services we are finding in demand during COVID-19 include: website content updates; website development that has been on the "To Do" list; email marketing; on-hold message updates (telephone audio); Social Media; Public Relations.

Weekend Printer (Dave Eckler): A Big Thank You to Whitey and Sandy Proietti for providing their drive up service. There is something very comforting about Chicken French.

Kids First Childcare - Diana Singer: We are still open to serve the families in our community. Our hours of operation are 7:00am to 6:00pm. Our enrollment is very low because of COVID19 but we have had no incidents of infection with any of our staff or families.  We continue to clean and sanitize everything continuously, we take temperatures upon entry to the building and we take children at the door and deliver them to parents at the end of the day. We have room currently in both Webster and Brighton for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and a few school aged.

Holiday Inn Express (Keith Rose): Holiday Inn Express – We are still open!  We will remain open through these tough times.  Now is a great time to negotiate a rate for your company through the remainder of 2020.  We will be offering amazing specials, including triple bonus booker points, and 25% off meeting/event space for Webster Chamber members.  Please note that we will be offering a limited breakfast and our pool will be closed for the time being.

Fleet Boat Club (Ken Dens): Greetings from Fleet Boat Club! Hope you are all well and remembering that summer fun will be here soon!

Jan Cunningham Design (Jan Cunningham): Hi friends, I know it’s not an easy time right now. What promotions are you considering to gain more business in this climate, or want to have ready when normal business activity resumes? Now’s the perfect opportunity to get your marketing materials in order. I can help with everything from branding, social media and e-mail blasts to beautifully designed flyers, brochures, mailers and more to help your business get more traffic and visibility in our community. www.jancunninghamdesign.com

Goshorn Wellness Center (Karen Szembrot): Goshorn wellness center hopes you’re all well and staying healthy! Goshorn Chiropractic and Wellness will re-open Monday, March 30th with temporary hours 8:00 AM - 12:00 noon on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Dr. Goshorn will be the only doctor seeing patients at this time. Thank you all and stay safe and healthy!!

Edward Jones (Rich Marlin): The serious long term investor doesn't panic when the stock market goes down, we invest.  So "If your not planning for your retirement, then that's your business.  If you are planning for your retirement, then that's my business."  I hope everyone is well!

Spectrum (Steve Conger): I hope you are doing well with the recent changes and hopefully you have been able to work. We have been talking to business owners regarding reduction in staff at their office and possibly needing internet connections set up for their employees at home. Businesses may also need to stream meetings that require higher bandwidth or a new internet connection.  Greater demand on the internet may require an upgrade , especially if employees need to VPN into work. If you have any of these situations,  let me know, and we can review your options.

Heartland Payroll (Joe Vitello): Greetings from your friends at Heartland.  Like many of you, we have moved to a work from home situation.  With thousands of employees, it has been quite the undertaking but we haven't missed a beat.  With all that is going on, we have been helping our client base with loans and our gift card program so they can inject cash into their business. If you want info on either area, let me know. Be safe out there.

Mary Kay (Gail Boorum): Hello Business Friends/Partners! I hope you are doing well during this crazy time.  Just an FYI, my Mary Kay "store" is open for all beauty and skincare needs and/or for gift giving, and I deliver for free  (no I won't come in your house)!!!!  Be well!

DNA - Digital Marketing (Juilio Ahumada): DNA Digital Marketing has been busy although our retail partners have been hit pretty hard. In order to help those clients DNA Digital Marketing is proving our services free of charge until their cash flow starts moving in again. Hope everyone is doing the best they can. We can help you.

Computer Works Pro (Ken Corpus): Hello Chamber members.  Just like to let everyone know we are open for business.  We have reduced hours and are doing curbside pickup at the store or in your driveway.  We also will do on-site calls but only for emergency related problems and we will wear an N95 mask and rubber gloves.  Please feel free to give us a call if you need anything computer related.  We do have access to refurbished laptops with webcams if you are working from home. Check out web page for COVID-19 status updates for more information: http://www.computerworkspro.com/covid-19/. Please stay safe and healthy and hopefully we will all be back to work soon.

Oxford Capital Mortgage (Jeff Maroney): Hello fellow chamber members!  I hope you and your families are staying healthy and safe during these "trying" times.  At Oxford Capital we are still open for business and can be here for any of your mortgage needs or questions.  Hang in there everyone as we will get through this!

M&T Bank (Anthony Ariola): Here at M&T we are open and working albeit in a truly unique and different way.  The vast majority of banking transactions are being completed through our drive up and for customers that need to do more complex things we are making appointments to enter the lobby and work with one of our staff.  We have opened new accounts, done consumer and business loans and provided assurances to so many local consumers and businesses!   Hope all are well and look forward to gathering once again!

Dr, Stan Drabik (Tina Welk): We're all OK at Dr. Drabik's office! We are missing our every day normal life of seeing each other and our patients every day. We are all happy to be keeping healthy at home but look forward to when we can get back into the swing of things!

The Refinement Studio (Miss Cynthia Ely): Mom and I are healthy and doing well. I miss your beauteous faces. I am having fun working on my first online course! Much love, Miss Cynthia

Christopher's Challenge (Kathy Costello): Good morning! Christopher’s Challenge is receiving requests to assist with patients.  Since all patients in the Bone Marrow Unit are now in isolation from their families, Christopher’s Challenge provided 20 IPads so each patient is able to communicate with their family and friends.  Next week we are hoping to support and appreciate the staff. Stay safe!

O'Dell Chiropractic (Dr. Norman O'Dell): Hello Webster Chamber friends. I Hope everyone is doing things now to stay healthy and strong. We are at 80% open.  We are here so please come on by and get well adjusted. Actually, call 671-9210 so that we can schedule you appropriately! God Bless!

Bene-Care Payroll (Ron Stade): Hello everyone. The Bene-Care family, like most, are working from home while maintaining business as usual and taking great care of our clients.  We are offering programs to assist our clients in financial trouble and doing what’s needed to ensure they can maintain their business and pay their employees while keeping them in the know with every aspect of this NEW Coronavirus Pandemic we are all going through today. If I can be of any assistance to anyone regarding this Coronavirus situation please feel free to reach out to me even if you aren’t already a client, I would love to be able to help and make a difference.  Thank you.

My Car Guys (Greg Wright): Hello everyone. My Cars Guys is currently open and operating during our current situation. We are blessed to be able to provide essential repairs to our customers.

M.I.S. Inc (Frederic Mis): First of all, thank you for your continued presence at the C of C, whether in the office or in the virtual office. I cannot speak for others, but I truly appreciate it. My company is in the business of designing radiology offices for private providers and performing acceptance testing of the radiology equipment. We were recently told to expect 20 new urgent care offices to be constructed. We are performing the design work from our home offices. Just to keep up with the work, we have recently (over the past three days) become licensed to perform radiological design work in Ohio and West Virginia. We are already licensed to do this along the Eastern Seaboard and California, among other States.

At Your Service Technologies (Kevin Levinson – Operations Manager): Many have been confronted by the reality of COVID-19 both at home and at work. We remain dedicated to supporting your business. Our team has the resources and tools needed to support you from any location and deliver the highest levels of performance, availability and security. Remote capabilities are important for business, but are critical in these times of uncertainty. We want to assure you that AYST is here to help you keep your business running in an efficient manner. Above all else, we hope that you, your family and friends remain healthy and safe as we all work through these uncertain times together.

Best Financial (Jack Best): Use ZOOM or any video conference app to hold family gatherings. Our six extended  family members now meet every Sunday night at 7:30 PM.  Works even better for Grandpa (me) than going to their house and standing outside the front door window.

Northwest Bank (Rob Blair): Northwest Bank continues to be open primarily doing drive through transactions and lobby transactions by appointment only. If you don’t have online banking or an ATM/Debit card I encourage everyone to please get these.  Online banking, Debit Cards, and ATM’s can be helpful alternative delivery channels for banking customers. Remember bank deposits are FDIC insured as well. We are here to help! Stay safe everyone.

DiSalvo Law Office (Tom DiSalvo): DiSalvo Law Office is operating, but closed to the public. My paralegal is working at home via the magic of computers and email. I'm in the office trying to keep all the balls in the air until this emergency is over. Webster court like all local courts in the state, city, town and village are closed till April 30th. Socially Distant in Webster aka Tom DiSalvo.

Webster Town Board (Barry Deane):  Good morning all! I hope you’re healthy and well.

Kuhn & Pedulla Agency (Kathy Pedulla): To keep our employees and clients safe, Kuhn & Pedulla Insurance is open via phone and email    Stay Well - Work Smart!

Electronic Merchant Systems (Andrei Petrov): We are helping businesses that are staying open with adding online ordering to expand their customer reach, assisting essential businesses with remote payments (doctors, pharmacies, maintenance services, HVAC, plumbers, contractors, etc.) as well as our essential liquor stores. For businesses suspending operations or reducing hours, this would be a great opportunity to have our Math Dept run a complimentary, detailed, savings analysis on your current processing, in order to identify extraneous fees and high rates. We are direct, not brokers, local, and available 24/7, as we are also considered nationally essential for your business’s success. Our motto is: We Educate. You Decide. My cell is: 585.406.4563 Thank you and I hope you don’t go too stir crazy cooped up at home!

Lincoln Quickprint (Dick Astifan): To all my business partners at the Chamber and to my friends, my prayer is that we all stay healthy and get through this crisis. My wife and I are well, taking precautions and staying virtually quarantined to home. Our age and health issues dictate this life style. That said, I am working (what's new) from home and am able to get to the shop to make copies and other things, so if during this time you have something that needs to be done in my realm, feel free to give me a call. Stay well and hope that we see each other real soon.

Friends of the Webster Library (Peg Ehmann): What a great idea to have an online “pass the mic”. The Friends of the Webster Library want you to know that the library is functioning and has all kinds of services available, including calling, or emailing, to ask for a book, a DVD, whatever…then you can drive to the library, and they will bring it to your car.  They also have lots of online activities and ideas – for adults as well as children!

Dr. Peter J. Pellittieri: We have closed our dental office until further notice but will be addressing emergencies as they arise.  Patients can call our office number for information.  Thankfully everyone in our office family is doing well!

Kiwanis club of Webster: (Dr. Peter J. Pellittieri): Kiwanis Club of Webster has cancelled our annual Easter Egg Hunt for the first time since 1957.  We still hope we can hold our first Crazy Canine Amateur Dog Show on Saturday, July 18 at Webster Parks and Rec.  All Kiwanis meetings and events are currently cancelled as well until further notice.

Webster CSD Board of Education (Tammy Gurowski - President): I've been following your communications and think you've done a tremendous job, thank you for your work.  From the school district side I would add that there is very close contact on all levels of decision making from federal and state agencies to our own tight knit county network of superintendents.  We continue to be grateful for their leadership as well as that of the Monroe County Health Department led by Dr. Michael Mendoza.  Our OneWebster teaching and staff community has risen to the challenge by providing daily support, instruction and meals to our students.  We know this is a fluid situation and as such, we stay in touch just as you've done for the Chamber.  I would refer anyone to the district website for latest news or they can email questions.  If I can't answer I'll find the person who can.

Turner Auto Care (Vicki Bartlett): Hello everyone! We have yet to meet any of you in person as we are new members! But here we are with our first virtual hello. Turner Auto Care is currently open and we are servicing our customers vehicles Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm. To help with keeping our customers and staff healthy, we have decided to close our waiting area to customers and are asking everyone to drop their vehicles off instead of waiting for them which has been received very well. We are making extra efforts and sanitizing everything! This includes all vehicles - they are disinfected prior to coming into the repair area and then again once they are finished and waiting for pick up. We're offering over the phone payments and completely interaction free drop off and pick up for those who want it. It definitely feels odd though, to not welcome people in but we feel positive about how we're managing. We are wishing everyone good health, good business and a quick quarantine! If you need our help, please don't hesitate to reach out. Scott & Vicki Bartlett

Lularoe (Kimberly Schwenzer): Trying to embrace the quiet. Trying to accomplish small things daily!

Family First Credit Union (Georgia Interlicchia): Family First Credit Union is here!  Our lobbies may not be open but the drive-up lanes are open for business and branches are staffed to comply with social distancing.

Harter Secrest & Emery LLP (Ed Steve, Labor and Employment Counsel):  I hope that you and your loved ones are doing well in these difficult times.  My law firm established a multi-disciplinary COVID-19 Task Force to guide clients through these extraordinary times and have a website dedicated to COVID-19 (https://www.hselaw.com/guidance-for-employers-on-responding-to-covid-19).  That website is updated regularly and contains links to webinars we are offering.  I am working from my Webster home and have been forwarding legal updates to Barry as they arise. You can contact me at esteve@hselaw.com.  Best wishes.

Dairy Queen Webster (Chuck Gambacurta): The Dairy Queen drive through is open and ready to serve Webster! Take care or yourselves and stay healthy!

Henderson Ford and Quick Lane of Webster (Randy Henderson): Updated 04/02/2020) We trust and pray that everyone is safe and well. Our Sales Department is open by appointment only. Please call 585 353-4176 to schedule a time that is convenient for you. Our Service and Parts Departments are designated as Essential Businesses and are open to serve you from 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday thru Saturday. We also offer Service pickup and delivery of your vehicle for your convenience if you prefer.

NOCO Energy Corp. (Tina Salvatore): NOCO Natural Gas and Electric still reviewing remotely businesses’ utility bills before the 24% rate increase. This is a good time to look before business ramps back up to full swing.   RG&E & NYSEG increase goes into place May 2020 (anticipated rate increase). This review can be by email and phone.  Email a copy of your business utility bill to determine if you are overpaying for your service tinasalvatore@noco.com  - No obligation or cost to review.   Many businesses do not pay attention to their utility bills.  Markets are remaining fairly stable during these uncertain times.  NYMEX has been at a 10 year low. Recently we discovered a pizza business that was overpaying $4,500 per year.  That is a lot of dough!   Stay well, Stay Healthy!   Support LOCAL.

Corretore Law Offices (David Corretore): It is so great to be self-employed -- I get to voluntarily quarantine in my office with no one around and the door locked.  Now if I could get some work done too.

Guy Alvito Trucking Service LLC (Kathy Alvito): We are doing well.  At this time, we are an essential business working for Dolomite Products.  We are able to do this with little or no contact with others.  We stay in our trucks, the loader operators load our trucks, and then we get weighed on the scale.  The only contact is the passing of the ticket from the booth to the truck.  This is done through a tiny slot.  Bills are sent via e-mail.  It is a very difficult situation for all, and we feel blessed to be able to provide a needed service and still be working at this time.  Our hearts and prayers go out to all those who are unable to operate their business at this time and anyone who is fighting this virus.

Tim Shortsleeve, TYS, LLP CPAs (Tim Shortsleeve): I hope this finds everyone safe and healthy.  At TYS we are all working remotely but it is business as usual.  We are preparing and delivering tax returns and performing accounting and bookkeeping services virtually for our clients. Please know that we are here to help answer questions as it relates to taxes and also the pending CARES ACT.  There are significant provisions in the ACT that will help you.  Don’t wait as the resources will be limited. tshortsleeve@tysllp.com  or 585-615-7176

The Bay View YMCA (Terri Thon): The Bay View YMCA is closed, however, we are proud to be running an Emergency Child Care Program for those that work in Healthcare and are First Responders from 7am – 6pm, M – F.  It is open to the public. We are calling all of our senior members to check on them to make sure they are safe and healthy and know they have access to Y360 - an exercise program online. Most FT staff are working from home and so far all are healthy. Wishing everyone  patience, health, and togetherness abounding!

Webster Union Cemetery (George Baker): Hoping everyone stays healthy and safe through these difficult times.

Marina Auto Group (John Gabriele): Trying to help best we can in these uncertain times. Thanks to all that are on the front line of the battle against this pandemic. To all of our medical staff and first responders, in appreciation for all that you do for our community, Marina Auto Group wants you to know that we are here for you. If your vehicle is in need of serious repair, or has been involved in an accident that has rendered it totaled, or undrivable we will allow you a vehicle form our service loaner fleet, at no charge for up to 60 days. All you need is proof of damage, a valid drivers license, and valid insurence. During these trying times we want you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families as we look forward to a quick recovery from the COVID-19 outbreak and beyond.

Elizabeth Wende Breast Care (Salena Sachman & Nancy Wayne): COVID 19 has affected all of us in some way and we are thinking of you ALL!  Our offices are OPEN including our new office (opened March 9) on Barrett Drive in Webster. Please know we are committed to protecting every patient & staff member.  www.Ewbc.com

Passero Realty (Chris Passero): Great idea with the virtual pass the mike! Passero Realty is continuing to operate during this time since much of the work I do can be done remotely.  I continue to represent buyers and tenants in finding buildings/properties to purchase or lease.  With the volatility of the stock market, many of my clients are moving towards investing more in real estate. I am also still assisting clients with marketing their properties for sale or lease.  The physical tours of properties are hampered slightly.  I am trusting God to provide for my needs during this time and trying to help clients and others I know with their needs. Thanks to the chamber and the valuable information and resources that you are communicating to us all.

Dancing with Denise (Denise Baller): Hi there, my family and I are healthy and I am wishing the same for you all. I started teaching dance classes using  the Zoom app and the smiles have been amazing for my students as well as me!  I also have been doing Zumba classes so if anyone would like to join in let me know! If I can help in any way, please reach out to me...sending a big Italian hug!

Eastern Managed Print Network (Rob Marshall): Xerox products can help business with process automation and remote workforce enabling. HEADS UP & KEEP GRINDING!!

Acute Kids Urgent Care (Vanessa Reinhard): Hi Webster!  AcuteKids here to let you all know that we are here and ready to serve during this crisis.  We still have our normal operating hours and we are fully operational to see kids with any need.  We also have COVID testing materials, full PPE for our staff, and have a protocol in place to test the kiddos in the parking lot if needed.  We are also offering telemedicine for anyone who needs us but isn't sure if they need to leave the house... head over to our website www.acutekidsurgentcare.org and click "BOOK A VIRTUAL VISIT" at the top of the page.  Stay strong, stay home, avoid play dates and group activities, and give us a call if you need us!

Drug-Free Irondequoit: Together (Ginny Nacy): Hello Fellow Chamber members! We are continuing to work on some initiatives within the current OASAS grant we currently have and just finished re-applying for the Federal CDC Grant  (though under the current situation,  I hold little hope that there will be money to work in the field of substance use prevention). DEA Drug Take Back Day scheduled for April 25th has already been canceled….but stay tuned there may be a possibility of holding an independent Drug Take Back Day in the future. Stay Well!

AIOPX Management Consulting (David Powe): We are doing well and doing our best to stay “socially distanced”. So far, I have been successful in converting all of our meetings to video or audio conference. But I would love to hear your thoughts on how to lead virtual teams. Stay safe, help someone who needs it and ask for help if you need it.

RP Damico and Associates (Kevin Conroy - personal financial planning): We remain open and here to help our clients and our community.  We have been checking in with all of our clients to not only answer any questions related to their accounts or finances, but to ensure they have the essential items they need in their home.  We offered to all of our clients and extend to our community that if someone does not have an advisor or haven’t heard from their advisor – we are happy to talk with them.

Penny Swingly: Tired of being in but everyone is doing great. My husband is still alive, so far. Hope everyone is ok.

Toshiba Business Solutions (Cindi Spezio):Thank you, Barry and team, for continuing to update us with links and information that can help all of us. I’m a new member of the Chamber and very impressed by what you have done and will continue to do.  Together we will get through this difficult time. If you or your business has any printer/copier or document solutions needs I am working and ready to help.

Webster Town Board (Patricia Cataldi): Hi everyone!  How much has changed in the past week!  What hasn’t changed is the great community we are in.  Thank you Barry for organizing this virtual pass the mic. I never thought I would miss a 7 am meeting, but all this distancing is making me crave company other than the banjo player in my house!? I just drove through the Village and saw the awesome signs that were sponsored by the BID that encourage folks to support their local businesses! I am convinced that good things will come from this and an big one will be the importance of local supporting local! Keep up the good work everyone. Stay safe, stay well and stay calm.

Whelpley and Paul (Dan Jacobs): We at Whelpley and Paul are doing very well. We miss our patients and hope to return to business soon but are closed indefinitely at this time. We hope everyone is staying safe out there and hope to see you all very soon.

Now more than ever – you need to keep in contact with your current and potential clients. I can help with all your promotional needs. Please stay safe and healthy!

Xceed Federal Credit Union (Marissa Howard): We hope everyone is well while we’re navigating unchartered territory.  Although, Xceed is closed to the public we are still working and serving our members needs over the phone, email, night deposit, and online.  We’re here for our members, we’ve put many benefits into place to help during these uncertain times.

Maplewood Nursing Home (Greg Chambery): I’d like to thank the Webster community for the amazing support we’ve received. We’ve had people rally around us by producing masks for our staff and by sending countless cards and letters to our residents – What a testimony to neighbors helping neighbors. Our priority is taking every measure to keep our residents and staff safe. We know everyone has a lot of questions and concerns and we are providing helpful COVID-19 updates and information on our web site.
