The Refinement Studio
Miss Cynthia Ely, known to her students as Miss Cynthia, has just returned from London where she earned her Certification as an International Youth Etiquette Consultant.
She is owner of The Refinement Studio LLC, where she transform girls and boys into ladies and gentlemen. The Refinement Studio LLC was established to teach manners to children. Through lessons in poise, grace, character development and communication, she prepares children to handle any situation that may come their way. Miss Cynthia does this by teaching children ages 5-17 and young adults ages 18-21 her Minding Manners curriculum. She also hosts tea parties for children ages 5-10.
While her business is located in Rochester on Canterbury Road, Miss Cynthia has been a member of the Webster Chamber of Commerce since 2014 and serves on the Education Committee. Miss Cynthia is very involved in the community giving presentations on etiquette, public speaking, nd conducting professional presentations to various organizations such as The Webster Young Entrepreneurs Academy, City of Rochester Biz Kid$ Camp, Children Awaiting Parents, Destiny School, area Girls Scout Troops, Rochester Equal Opportunity Center, St. John Fisher College, and RIT. In addition, once a month she helps cook breakfast at the Open Door Mission. She has also provided financial support to Faith Temple, Lakeside Child & Family Care, the Open Door Mission, and Lollypop Farm.
