NOCO Natural Gas & Electric was founded in Tonawanda, New York in 1933 as a family-owned residential coal supplier. By 1948, NOCO transitioned to home heating oil. Their product lines have been expanding ever since, and today feature a wide-ranging portfolio of energy products and services for homes and businesses. Today, NOCO has 320 employees and they have about 50 job openings across Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse!
NOCO’s mission is to provide Western and Central New York homes and businesses with a full menu of energy products and services while delivering exceptional value and customer care. Their business transforms and evolves alongside the community they serve. NOCO has always been on the forefront of innovative energy technologies, and they continue to supply and invest in sustainable energy solutions that promote a healthier environment and support their local community and economy.
One of the things Tina likes personally and is why she chooses to work at NOCO is they take care of their customer, but also take care of their employees. This became evident and shined during the pandemic. The local, family business with longevity and integrity (ethical in their industry and customer service focused) is aligned with her core values.
NOCO has a long-standing commitment to the communities they serve. Their 300+ employees are encouraged and supported while they are active in the community. NOCO also sponsors numerous local endeavors, such as park clean-up days, food drives, sports teams, and community blood drives.
