My Roommates Closet seeks to provide the missing pieces to your closet that makes you feel comfortable, confident, and empowered. We strive to have many different styles that will fit anyone’s needs and that fit any occasion.

OUR STORY

Hi! My name is Nicole, and I am the founder of My Roommates Closet which launched in June 2021. My whole life I have always loved to shop, and I would get so excited to get new clothes and try new styles. As I grew up, I knew I always wanted to start my own trendy women's clothing store. With the background of receiving my bachelor degree in Business Management, receiving an MBA in Business, and the support of my family and friends, I was able to make my dream a reality! I wanted to start a clothing store that included different styles that are not only trendy, but fit everyone’s needs. I wanted the vibe of the store to be casual wear that you can dress up or dress down; something that you can wear around the house and something that you can wear to go out.

I came up with the name, my Roommates Closet, because all throughout high school and college my friends would come to my house and look through my closet to borrow clothes, and I would do the same with them. From my experience, looking through each other’s closets and borrowing clothes from your friends is something that many girls do, especially in college. I wanted my store to embody the different styles and clothes that girls have in their closets. My goal is make women feel confident and comfortable when they wear our clothing!
