It’s been a busy summer here at the Chamber. We are in the middle of a major office remodel! That and vacations have made things around here a bit hectic and chaotic. Like “what happened to my stapler when my office got moved?” ?
We are carrying on with our scheduled events including Breakfast on Friday August 26th. This breakfast will be at the Webster School District Spry building on South Ave and will give us a chance to see their completed renovations and get an update on the school district. See the website for details and to register.
At the August breakfast we will also be electing some directors to the Chamber Board. Each year the terms of some (this year three) directors and the Chair-elect positions are opening. Please see the newsletter for details on the slate of candidates presented by the Nomination Committee. Business members are eligible to vote for the Board positions.
We will resume our Power Hour series on September 9th at 8:00 AM with a presentation titled “Everything You Wanted to Know about Blockchain in Under an Hour”. The presenter will be Chamber member Garrett Wagner from C3 Advisory. See the details on the website to sign-up.
At our September 30th Breakfast we will be honoring the Chamber members that are celebrating milestone longevity anniversaries in 2022 - these are organizations that have anniversaries of 25 years or more in 5-year increments (25 years, 30, 35, 40, etc.). We would like to honor you at the breakfast with a plaque and a brief synopsis of your organization. Please call the Chamber office if you are celebrating a milestone anniversary in 2022! We hope you are enjoying the summer and staying safe!

This slate of candidates will be voted on by the membership at the September 30th, 2022 meeting to be held at 7:00 am at the Webster Recreation Center (1350 Chiyoda Drive, Webster)
